WHAT IS DWI ?

DWI is a short form that applies to the process of motor vehicles and an abuse of driving laws. DWI stands for driving while intoxicated or driving while impaired. State laws regarding DWI offenses vary slightly, though it is against the law in each authority to operate a motor vehicle below the power of alcohol. Laws concerning operation of other vehicles, such as aircraft and watercraft, also vary with the authority. A DWI accuses resulting from use of prescription medication or illicit drugs may also be viewed another way in each authority or state.
